This website provides links to a wide variety of ciphers. Following those cipher links will take you to a brief description of the cipher, an example using the cipher, and (in many cases) a tool that you can use to encipher and decipher messages using each cipher. |

This website provides information about a variety of ciphers--classical and modern. It offers an introduction to each cipher, descriptions of how to use each cipher to encrypt and decrypt messages using the ciphers, and exercises for practice. |
